These photo encaustic framed panels are approx 11 x 11 inches in total with the central encaustic panel of 5 x 5 inches. They are the combination of several art styles from an award winning Landscape Photographer and Encaustic Artist.
These are examples of the box frames made in this style that are regularly available, but I can also make these pieces with all the square textured images from my Instagram Page, please send a link to any image you wish created in this style.
This is a stylised and textured landscape image printed on giclee paper, on a hardwood ply panel, on a tulipwood (American Poplar) frame treated with Shou Sugi Ban burning technique in keeping with the encaustic theme, wax and resin medium applied to the image and worked with an encaustic iron or brush in the photo encaustic style to create an ethereal look and textured finish.
As these are one off, bespoke art pieces, although the central image will be the same, the encaustic (wax) texture may be different, as may the unique frames, all are built to order from recycled wood and may vary in appearance.
